Beneath the Layers of Behaviour - Seeing the Child Within - Wellington

Children’s behaviour is often like layers—what shows on the outside doesn’t always reflect what’s happening on the inside.

Frustration, defiance, or withdrawal may be the outer layer, while underneath lie emotions, instincts, and needs that a child cannot yet put into words.

In the midst of these big behaviours, it’s easy to feel stuck, powerless, or unsure what to do next. 

This seminar, based on Dr, Gordon Neufeld's work, invites parents, caregivers, and professionals to look beyond the layers of behaviour to truly see the child or young person within.

Together, we’ll explore how to gently peel back those outer layers with patience and understanding, so we can respond to what children really need.
